I thought Coach Hal could bring the heat better than this video indicates. Believe it or not, he was actually more talkative after the game. Maybe 6 years of domination has finally worn him down.

Well... everyone knows that I own the only perfect Auburn hat on this fine planet we call home. However, I found another tailgating product that might run a close second. I'm proud to inform you of... Crack A Cap!

Yeah, I suppose that Auburn fans were just being overly sensitive when we said that the New York Times had an agenda when they reported the Auburn grade scandal. Funny, I don't see them reporting the University of Alabama's "Football 101".

Another tailgating innovation has hit the markets. For all you people that have ever endured the annoying beeping and played the "aim the dish at the corner of the building... no left... no right... right there, stop!" game, this is for YOU.

Here at WDT, we try to bring you up to date on the most innovative tailgating products that exist. We believe that it's never too early to start preparing for the upcoming football season. Kudos to my sister-in-law for finding this diamond in the rough. These Reef sandals will be flying off the shelves in every college town across the nation. Move over Papa Bert... I now understand what Jimmy Buffet meant when he said he "blew out his flip-flop"

The recent success of Florida Gator basketball has made me jealous of having more months in the year to root for a good team. Here's a quick look back at the 1998-99 Auburn Tigers Basketball team. Personal shout-out to Abe Smith, who was a freshman on the team that year.

Apologies ahead of time to the logical Bama fans that already realize what I'm about to write. It's just unfortunate that there are so few of you. Just allow us to enjoy the 2000's like you enjoyed the 70's... if you were alive then.
I know this article is going to fall on deaf, crimson, houndstooth ears, I know that. But, Bama fans, I have to finally put all my feelings into print and this is directed at each of you. They're feelings that most Auburn fans talk about to other Auburn fans. They're feelings that Auburn fans tell Bama fans all too often. The problem is that Bama fans feel that Auburn fans just babble out of jealousy. Well, the national media and coaches from around the nation have spoken. The question is... do you care to listen?

The time has come. It's here every November and I love it. The only real question is, "Which Auburn team is going to get off the bus?"

First of all let me say... No excuses. Georgia lined up and beat us like the two/three loss team we are. Kudos to them.
Now... on to the excuses.

I feel like if you have a season ticket to see any SEC football team, you should not have to read this article. However, you'll also agree that it's long overdue. If you still get looks from that "person" in front of you that is either there because someone sold them tickets for this one game or does not understand why you are yelling in their ear... print, laminate and distribute, my friends.

Why not? Kenny gives Auburn it's best chance for a Heisman contender in many years. Carnell didn't really stand a chance with Ronnie pulling almost half the load. And Jason Campbell was way too quiet. Kenny is the opposite of quiet. He's outspoken, flashy, cocky when hyped for a game and humble (win or lose) during post-game interviews. Running with a wide range of emotions, he will predict (and backup his words) 200 yards against the always stingy LSU defense, but when asked how it happened, he always gives full credit to his offensive line. Does he believe that? Naaa, probably not. But it looks good and Kenny always looks good.

Well, it’s June and so starts the waiting. The Braves suck, the World Cup just makes me angry and I need me some college football lovin’. That being said, here’s my contribution to help ease the most suckiest time of year… one month before two-a-days.

Honestly, I tried to stay low-key before AND after the Iron Bowl. My Bama friends (The "Few Good Men") help me do that because when we all get together, we are an extremely civil crew and have a great time together. Then, if we want to get any jabs in there... we all, of course, hide behind our website articles. :)

Midseason is here and my best "Crimson Tide" friend, Coach Hal, has been pestering me to write an article. Since he is at home surfing the internet while changing the diapers of his beautiful baby girl, I decided to grant him his wish. No doubt he wants to see my emotions in print about Bama's proclamation of being "Back". I know he’s hoping that I have pain and anger. Sorry, Hal, all I have are the facts.

With the GT season opener approaching, I bring you a light-hearted tale of a boy with a dream. We've all heard the legend. Some of us saw his predecessor two years ago at Bobby Dodd. That being said... I'm simply the messenger. Enjoy this article by Kristen Noell of the Georgia Tech Technique about the man, the myth, the legend... the Flag Boy.

Let's take a moment to look outside the friendly confines of the Plains of Auburn. In doing so, let’s give thanks that the Auburn coaching staff asks more of their recruits than just a fast 40 yard dash.

The follwing article has been circulating around Texas and Auburn message boards, ridiculed by many, accepted by none. (At least none from the Plains or Lone Star State)
Whiners Do Not Become BCS Winners
I started thinking... "Why is this Georgetown journalist so wrapped up in this?" Well, I did my best Sherlock Holmes impression to figure out why Kristen Fohrer of (Georgetown's newspaper "The Hoya") had such a vendetta against Texas and Auburn... well, everyone except for the USC Trojans. It looks like all it was just a little touch of "Homerism".

The Game: I was very impressed with VT's defense. Fast and well-coached. I saw a few sucker punches that suprised me from a Beamer-Disciplined defense, but it's hard to control your emotions in a game like Monday's.

This is it, people. This is the stuff that dreams are made of. If Auburn wants to get the "Can't Win Without Being the Underdog" monkey off it's back... this weekend is as good a time as any to do it.

Why would an EGO such as Steve Spurrier come back to college football after his potent offensive machine that he was running at Florida, ended up failing so miserably in the NFL?
